Physics Games and Physics-Based Game Downloads

Incredibots Goes Beta

Tuesday, November 11th, 2008 by Matthew in News

Incredibots, a neat Flash-based physics sandbox from the fine gentlemen at Grubby Games, just went live with a public beta. It has a lot of potential, and they’re doing a great job of polishing it up. Go check it out over at incredibots.com.

You can make your own replays with it, too, which I’m sure the SomethingAwful crowd will rather enjoy.

Hey, new to commenting on Fun-Motion, long time visitor, love the site.

The physics aren’t going to blow anyone away, but they do the job, the tutorials are informative (But it’s pretty easy to figure out) and it’s yet another time wasting game where you can pour some creativity into it. It’s quite addicting, and that there’s highscores, uploadable replays and bots, and a forum make it have much staying power. Give it a try, definitely. Very addicting.

the physics are great, they are as realistic as a 2-d physics simulator can go. only a few bugs when put under pressure tough, should be fixed after beta

    This game is too cool.
I made up a challenge, and a bunch of people posted replies.
    It’s fun!

The game is fun, that’s true.

But I would suggest taking the recorded example of the main page. It’s really resource hungry ;-)

A little elementary for my tastes, but im sure it will make some people happy. Its also a game you have to make your own. I would rather have a physics game with an actual purpose. Come on Matthew I am getting a little bored over here. Post a crazy action game with some awesome physics. And I would like some word on that game you were working on with the bull in the shop destroying everything. That looked like fun.

There’s a beat out for it, I’m actually surprised there hasn’t been news on it because I’ve been following a bit.
