Physics Games and Physics-Based Game Downloads


List of MacOS Physics Games

I’ve had a lot of emails asking for clarification on which games have MacOS versions available. When I get a free moment I’ll update the list of physics games with OS icons, so it’s easier to see at a glance. In the meantime, though, of the games I’ve reviewed so far these have MacOS builds:

  1. Cat Sledding (Java)
  2. Line Rider (Flash)
  3. Lugaru
  4. Pogo Sticker
  5. Ragdoll Masters
  6. Rocky the Monkey
  7. Stair Dismount
  8. TubeTwist
  9. Truck Dismount
  10. Toribash
  11. TG Motorcross 2 (Flash)
  12. Super Stealball

That’s just off the top of my head, so I may have missed a few. I’ll do a news post when I update the list with better OS identification. Keep in mind that the download links to any files actually hosted here are Windows (look for the link to the official game page at the end of the review).

Of course, there are piles and piles of physics-based Flash games out there too. I haven’t decided how to review those yet; I’ll probably do roundups with multiple games in a review, rather than do the whole video/etc treatment for each individual game.

    Hey Matt, love your site, have downloaded almost every game you’ve posted. I especially appreciate this post, being a Mac user myself (with an Intel mac, so I can still play all the games :D ), but I thought I’d let you know that, as far as I can see, there’s no Mac version of Truck Dismount. Just putting it out there. Again, love your site, keep up the good work!

    Armadillo run is the ultimate physics based game at the moment. please review it as i want to share the awesomeness that the game is.

    lol. man, I played this pretty fun physics game and I can’t remember the name, you played as some water….as odd as that sounds. Anyway, as always, thanks for the site, wonderful stuff.

    Love the site matt! BUT…..you should try to post some of the games from physicsengine.com on ur site its got some really cool games.
    Anyway keep up the good work
    P.S. love toribash! but the pics on the site show a guy with a sword…
    Can u actually get that?!

    Kumoon is the best of the bunch, IMO.
    Keep hoping a Mac build of Truck Dismount will materialize one day…
